All enrolled students at Bakrie University are provided with accident insurance and death benefits. The insurance claim process aligns with the provider chosen by the University. Assistance with submitting insurance claims is offered by the Bureau of Student Affairs (BIMA).
The requirements or flow of insurance services that heirs must follow for insurance claims for deceased students are as follows:
- The heirs notify the BIMA team of the demise of a child or sibling of a Bakrie University student, enclosing a chronological letter of death and a death certificate.
- Heirs are required to inform the BIMA team within seven (7) working days following the student’s demise.
- The BIMA team will delineate the terms and procedures for claims in compliance with the University’s designated provider.
- The BIMA team and heirs will collaborate until the disbursement of claim funds.
