The Bakrie University Student Affairs Bureau (BIMA) offers counseling and psychological services to enrolled students in need of support. BIMA coordinates appointments with psychologists to evaluate students’ challenges and tailor solutions to their individual needs. Collaborating closely with psychologists, BIMA aims to assist students grappling with mental health issues, particularly those intertwined with their academic pursuits. These psychological services are provided to students free of charge.
The requirements or flow of psychological services that students must adhere to include the following:
- Students who wish to consult with a psychologist can apply through the Academic Advisor (PA) / Head of Study Program (Kaprodi) and then submit it to BIMA, or directly to BIMA, which will coordinate directly with the PA Lecturer / Kaprodi.
- Students can access and download the counseling statement form from the following link: https://bit.ly/FormpsikologimhsUBakrie.
- The counseling statement form should be completed by either the students themselves, PA Lecturers, Kaprodi, or BIMA, and subsequently uploaded in PDF format to Google Forms via the following link: http://bit.ly/DaftarKonselingUBakrie.
- BIMA will undertake the collection and verification of student data.
- Subsequently, BIMA will extend an invitation to the student for a discussion to determine their eligibility for receiving psychological services.
- BIMA will compile the requisite documentation for counseling as per the psychologist’s request.
- BIMA will organize the counseling schedule.
- BIMA will craft personalized counseling invitation letters.
- BIMA will set up the designated counseling meeting room.
- Counseling sessions will involve the participation of both the counselor/psychologist and the student.
- Following the session, the counselor/psychologist will draft a comprehensive report or summary of the student's counseling guidance, submitting it to BIMA within a maximum of 14 working days.
- BIMA will disseminate the counseling outcomes to the students, with PA lecturers receiving them as necessary, ensuring confidentiality of the results.
